LUCINDA HAZENCHIEF BRAND OFFICERLucinda has deep roots in sales and marketing that began early in her life. Raised in the family's portrait studio business she started eagerly and regularly attending business and sales seminars at the ripe old age of 13!
After serving four years in the US Navy, Lucinda continued honing her business management and sales/marketing skills as well as artistic design in her own portrait studio and website design businesses. She has held regional sales, management and marketing positions for several Fortune 500 companies. In 2008 she found herself immersed in the world of hotel and restaurant ownership and management. Knowing business and service industries helped her to quickly assess the needs of the properties she owned and managed but she knew she wanted a more in-depth understanding of hotel marketing and revenue management. Lucinda enrolled in the Cornell School of Hospitality and in 2014 earned the Master Certificate in Hospitality Management. Whether as an owner/operator of independently branded hotels, or as a manager for the larger brands, (including Choice and Wyndham) she has consistently raised revenues and increased NOI at the properties. Lucinda holds dual certifications through both the AMA (American Marketing Association) and the DMI (Digital Marketing Institute). PCM® (Digital Marketing and Certified Digital Marketing Professional) DMP (Dual Marketing Professional) certification with the American Marketing Association (AMA). With her husband John, Lucinda has made Idaho her home. Married in 2008. She is the mother of 3 sons and 9 grandchildren! |
SHANNON STROSCHEINSENIOR BRAND COORDINATOREarly in life Shannon showed signs of an eager entrepreneurial spirit and graduated High School at the age of 16 with a 4.0 GPA. Initially she was pursuing a degree in the Healthcare field but soon found that marketing, web, and logo design were her passion.
She graduated top of her class with a degree in Business Management & Marketing and held various brand marketing and office management positions before joining the Avanti Hospitality team in 2014. A social media "guru", Shannon is the go-to person to help you learn how to utilize this amazing medium! Married to a Chief in the United States Navy, Shannon and her husband have 3 incredible children ages 2-9. Having moved 8 times in the last 10 years for her husband's career, Shannon is thankful her work can travel with her. Currently located on the West Coast, Shannon and her family enjoy all things outdoors including hiking, fishing, and camping. |
JOHN HAZEN"Motel Man"John's extensive career in real estate and primarily in hotels has given him unique insights and abilities for creative hotel marketing, finance and sales.
As a real estate broker, he is personally approaching $1 Billion in hotel sales. He has owned, operated and managed hotels for others as well as for banks who have found themselves with under performing assets. His unique skill set gives him the insight to help hotels find their niche and operate at peak efficiency levels! A proven "road-warrior", John is usually found traveling between sites in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. John makes his home wherever the road takes him, but settles in whenever possible with his wife Lucinda in their home in Idaho. He is a proud father of 4, grandfather to 13 and great-grandfather of 3 and counting! |
